This pan can be cooked with Butternut squash instead of pumpkin or even pumpkin. Fresh mushrooms such as chanterelles, porcini mushrooms, mushrooms or a mixture can replace frozen mushrooms. This vegetable dish can be prepared in advance. It can be frozen.

ingredients

400 g frozen mushroom mixture or ready-to-use button mushrooms
400 g of pumpkin
2 big apples (Royal Gala, Elstar, Jonagold, Jonagored, ...) about 350 g
210 g of natural chestnuts is a small jar
1 small sweet onion, Roscoff or red about 100 g
1 tbsp. tablespoons or canola oil or canola

Instructions

Peel the onion and cut it into cubes.
Heat the oil over medium heat in a large skillet or skillet.
Fry the onion until it is transparent.
Meanwhile, peel and cut the pumpkin into cubes about 2 cm square.
Add the frozen mushrooms when the onions are a little back, mix and heat over medium heat.
Add the pumpkin cubes when the mushrooms are almost thawed. Cover and cook over medium heat for 6 minutes.
Peel the apples, cut them in 4 then each quarter in 2 in the direction of the width. Add them after 6 minutes of cooking, mix, cover and continue cooking for 5 minutes or more depending on the hardness of the pumpkin. The tip of a knife should easily penetrate the pumpkin.
